PAMM: participation in pooled capital
In the PAMM implementation used as the basis for this website, capital is pooled in a dedicated manager account. The CRM keeps investor shares and applies results and eligible fees at closed periods. It handles participation changes through recorded financial requests.
Individual manager trades are not copied onto the investor’s personal account by this module. The fund index, each investor’s personal result and the manager’s commission reserve are separate records.
MAM: managed-account allocation
MAM refers to management and allocation across participating trading accounts. The particular allocation methods, broker permissions and execution behavior depend on the configured MAM implementation. It should not be assumed to use the same pooled-capital ledger as PAMM.
When comparing services, read where trades are recorded and how allocation is performed. The CRM includes separate MAM functionality; the dedicated pooled PAMM account cannot simultaneously be used for MAM or copy trading in the documented release.
Copy trading: provider and follower execution
Copy trading follows a provider’s trading activity on follower accounts. Execution conditions, account sizes, permissions and configuration can produce differences between the provider’s record and a follower’s outcome.
The CRM treats copy-trading operations and fees in their own modules. A website should not label a provider’s performance as every follower’s personal return or describe a PAMM share as a copied trading position.
Compare records, permissions and exit rules
Ask which account holds capital, where positions are opened, how a personal result is recorded and which rules govern an exit. Read the fee calculation and the responsibility for approving financial operations.
For this PAMM release, financial settlement requires disabled trading and a flat pooled account. That implementation-specific requirement should not be generalized to every MAM or copy-trading service.
Choose the workflow by its documented behavior
The comparison below describes account structure, not a recommendation that one model is more profitable or safer. Market risk remains relevant to all three. Exact behavior needs to be checked in the actual broker and CRM configuration.
PAMM.ME’s explorer is an illustrative interface for PAMM. The authenticated CRM contains the real trading modules. The homepage does not execute trades, manage follower accounts or move capital between brokers.
